Fred Hahn In my work I strive to show more how I feel rather that what I see.

I used to use my photography to capture scenes that I wanted to oil paint. But since 1988 when I was first introduced to Photoshop, I discovered methods that would allow me to create the expression with digital styling of my photographs. The computer then became my brushes and palette of colors. I love it when someone asks if my work is photography or a painting.

I also love to create digital art directly with the computer. Fractal abstracts are my most recent passion. I love the images that can be created with pure mathematics with some touch-ups using my stylus. As a bit of a perfectionist, I also love the fact that if I don't like a brushstroke - there is always the UNDO button! Painting these images on black background make the color pop with vibrance. These are especially effective when printed on acrylic.

My works have been displayed in the Laguna Art Museum, the San Bernardino Art Museum, the Catalina Island Casino Art Gallery, and various galleries in California and Arizona.
